He graduated from West Chester University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. From there, Brian went on to attend the Suffolk County Police Academy graduating as the valedictorian of his class. Brian worked as a police officer with the East Hampton Village Police Department while attending Hofstra University School of Law where he graduated with honors. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1998. During his time at Hofstra, he interned at the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney\u2019s Office for the Eastern District of New York and participated in Hofstra\u2019s Criminal Justice Clinic where he gained practical client interaction and courtroom experience.
